Today's topic is the keep your heart healthy heart disease is the second leading cause of death in the United States once a person is age 30 or older fat intake should be limited to only a handful per day from things like avocados nuts and seeds and even healthy oils heart disease is prevalent amongst the so-called African-American Native American and Hispanic people in order to keep the heart healthy
Tare also important the heart is a fire muscle or organ that pumps blood throughout the body the heart pumps about 1875 to 1960 gallons of blood in a adult human body daily and should never pump more or less the heart should beat between 60 to 70 times per minute this ratio is slightly different for athletes blood is supposed to circulate the body nine times a minute the right side of the heart receives oxygen poor blood from the veins and pumps it into the lungs where it picks up oxygen and gets rid of carbon dioxide the left side of the heart receives oxygen-rich blood from the lungs and pumps it through the arteries to the rest of the body things that can cause high blood pressure are problems with your lungs such as pulmonary hypertension pulmonary hypertension is when the blood vessels become damaged blocked or they are narrow so blood is not able to properly flow and this can end up causing you to have high blood pressure because it is damaging to your heart the kidneys if they are retaining water if they're not filtering the blood or they are not manufacturing rentin okay so written is a enzyme that regulates your thirst your urine output and your blood pressure your gall bladder if it's not turning fats into water droplets can cause you to have high blood pressure your digestive system such as constipation which can cause millions of other digestive disorders can cause you to have high blood pressure stress your adrenal glands sit on top of your kidneys and if they are weak they don't perform properly chemicals can severely affect your lungs and cause you to end up with high blood pressure so people that work in the industry of painting cars if they are a construction worker if they are mechanic and people that work in the nail salons the chemicals from those products and things can affect the lungs as a severe way and thus in turn can affect your heart and can cause high blood pressure so ladies when you sit inside the nail salon you are inhaling those you know strong odors and fumes that they you know use in their products the gel nails the shellac chemicals the acrylic chemicals or even just the nail polish itself they contain a lot of harmful that you are inhaling so for myself personally I don't condone the use of nail polish for that simple fact and your nails are very porous so you know it's one thing to be breathing in the chemicals but your nails does they're porous the chemicals can penetrate into your bloodstream so um they do have neo polishes that are more like on the natural side of things they have chemicals still but they have taken the time as they claim to have removed three five or seven of the most deadliest chemicals in the nail polish that can disrupt the endocrine system can cause tumors and cancers and women and can affect the reproductive system so you can look for those nail polishes if you choose to you know wear your nails colored but your best safest option is to just go without I think nails look fine if they are cleaned and well groomed and they are buffed to a natural shine for me that's enough but I know a lot of ladies like to wear their nails colored so just think about that when you're going to these salons you are affecting your health just by sitting there so these things are things that can cause you to have high blood pressure there are certain signs that will let you know if you have a bad heart so basically it would be things that you experience or things that you feel so in Jonah is when you would have a pain in the middle of your chest congestive heart failure is when the coronary arteries are not sending rich blood with nutrients to the heart when this happens plaque builds up in the arteries and will block the flow of blood to the heart when the heart is congested it works extra hearts upon blood through the vessel walls and this can cause your heart to become enlarged or you can get hypertension when there is a blockage you know in the heart or the arteries doctors normally roll what recommend that you get angioplasty or bypass surgery angioplasty is where they put a stent in the arteries to allow the blood to flow but both the angioplasty and the bypass surgery they don't fix the heart problem they just allow the patient some type of relief and they allow the patient or the individual time to clean up and fix their heart so where it can perform as it naturally should so remember I said earlier the heart is a muscle so you know it's very rigid regenerative shortness of breath is a sign that you have a bad heart remember we just spoke about the lungs and so the lungs you know filter your blood just that's the kidneys too but if they're not able to do this you know things start collecting like even mucus and you know people have pneumonia or emphysema and all these things can lead to you know you having a bad heart and then an overactive thyroid also affects your heart in a negative way because it'll causes the the beats per minute to rise above that 60 to 70 ratio so if it's steadily rising like that that can affect your heart in a negative way and then one other thing I wanted to mention before I forget is that people are very concerned with their you know cholesterol than their triglycerides and things like that and I have set before briefly and some other videos that cholesterol is only damaging for you if it oxidizes by free radicals in the body so your HDL and your LDL these are proteins that carry cholesterol you have a high one which stands for high density lipoprotein so lipid is a fat and then you have the LDL which stands for low disa t lipoprotein so the LDL carries cholesterol to the arteries your HDL carries fats away to the liver to be excreted from the body so if you have a lipid profile test done and your cholesterol is reading a high number like 200 or 205 it's not a problem for you as long as your cholesterol is not oxidized and you would know if your cholesterol has been compromise or oxidized by your diet what you eat so if you're having a reading of 200 or 205 or higher and you're eating you know eggs every morning and a lot of greasy fattening fried food all the time a lot of junk food a lot of dead food not enough water you smoke you don't exercise these are some things that can tell you whether or not your cholesterol is oxidized so if you're a person that eats you know healthy you work out you don't do drugs you don't overly excessively drink alcohol your cholesterol has not been compromise so I wanted to add that in there because people become confused thinking that cholesterol is something different and basically it's something that's carried it's it's carried by the protein that's why it's called lipoprotein those are the things that carry it and that's how you can know the health of your cholesterol levels and you should use caution if you decide to take the prescribed medication from the doctors it's always smart to get a second third and fourth opinion maybe include a naturopath doctor in the process so that you can know that you are taking the best route possible for your health you want to be in control of your health at all times you don't want to give up that right to someone else that doesn't feel what you feel you know they've not known your body as long as you've known your body so you have to make very informed decisions about your health for instance ACE inhibitors they increase potassium in the blood and this is bad for your heart and your kidneys and so to remove the potassium doctors will prescribe a water pill but the water pill will deplete or cause a lack of potassium and so there's another pill given for that problem as well so you end up with just three pills for you know one cheap complaint calcium channel blockers they block calcium in which you never want to block calcium from moving because it will start to collect in the soft tissues and create plaque in your walls so if you just took magnesium magnesium will direct that calcium on where it needs to go and it would allow boron to get inside of the bones so your teeth and bones will remain healthy and you won't have a plaque just sitting and collecting in places that it should have beta blockers they slowed up the heartbeat and for men this is detrimental because it can cause impotence and where there is not an erection received so instead of resulting to things like viagra and all those other pihl's they have four men that have this type of problem if you just fixed your diet you would not have the impotence problem but you want to avoid having your blood if you're a male be slowed up or become stagnant the male reproductive organ the penis is a muscle as well there's no bone inside of the penis so if there's not rich blood being sent to the heart to the to the penis or to the heart then a man will become impotent also slow or stagnant blood can cause high cholesterol and doctors will prescribe a drug for the high cholesterol but this will in turn create problems as well because that drug can oxidize your cholesterol and we just spoke about you know if your cholesterol has oxidized or not that will affect your health so if it's not oxidized your health will be in good standing but if it is it will be in a negative standing slow blood or blood that a stagnant can affect the kidneys and people will experience like numbness or tingling in their you know extremities so like the fingertips or the toes or even your hands it'll have like a numb or tingling sensation this is from your blood not moving as it should so um
